CLUB EVENTS

Activism on our minds

Twice a year, the Leopold BETA Club holds a dry dumpling fundraiser at the Leopold Knights of Columbus Hall to raise money for state convention. Over 400 bags of dried dumplings are sold by Leopold BETA each year!

BETA Breakfast

To raise convention funds, the Leopold BETA Club hosts a semiannual  "Breakfast and Bake Sale" in the Leopold KC Hall. Patrons are treated to an all-you-can-eat buffet of ham, sausage, pancakes, eggs, and more.

CUPID GRAMS

In the weeks leading up to Valentine's Day, the Leopold BETA club sells "Cupid Grams" (Valentine themed songs and cards) to Leopold students and their families. Leopold BETA members later deliver the "Cupid Gram" to their person of choice on Valentine's Day.

BETA  Raffle

Supported by generous prize donations from the local community, the Leopold BETA club also holds a raffle in November and March to support their trip to convention.

Convention GOals

At conventions, the Leopold BETA Club always strives to represent its school, community, and club well. The club also hopes to learn about new service projects that they can further develop and instate in their community.

BETA Installation

The Leopold BETA Club's 2017-2018 installation took place on September 20th, 2017 at 7 PM. Eight new members were inducted.

Campaign Preparation

From August through December, the entire Leopold BETA Club meets every Wednesday from 3:15 PM to 3:30 PM to practice their candidate's campaign skit. Beginning in October, students meet during their lunch hour to create the campaign backdrop.

Club meetings

Club meetings are held on an as-needed basis (usually once a month) in Mrs. Cooper's classroom. BETAs are kept posted about meetings, events, and service opportunities through the club's BETA Board, located in the high school hallway.
